(February 23, 2017) Today’s the overture, at the Italian Institute of Culture in Prague, for a selection of the winning works of the 2016 edition of "Jewelry New Design". The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. "New Design" (www.new-design.it) is a young project. More than eighty art schools from all over Italy have joined this initiative, which in 2016 was focused on gold working, with which the Ministry of Education, University and Research and the schools to give young talent the opportunity to express their creativity. Now in its seventh edition, "New Design" is an alternative to the teaching curriculum, a new way of combining school and research, drawing inspiration from traditional Italian inventiveness and ingenuity. In this edition, the competition has expanded its horizons and after having made stops in the picturesque setting of the Venice Arsenale has pointed directly at the heart of Europe: Prague. (Red)
