Design Made in Italy: Renato Stauffacher a guest at the ICI

(3 March 2017) Lightness, transversality, and innovation have been the core values of Alias, the Italian design brand, since 1979. The design and lightness of Alias will be the topic of discussion in Vienna at the Italian Cultural Institute with Renato Stauffacher. The encounter with the architect and owner of the famous Italian design company - producer of iconic pieces such as "Spaghetti Chair" by Giandomenico Belotti, "Seconda" by Mario Botta, "La leggera" by Riccardo Blumer and "Frame" Alberto Meda – will be held onMonday, March 13 at 19:00. The Viennese audience at the ICI- professionals in the field as well lovers of Italian design - will have the chance to admire through numerous picture slides, a selection of Alias creations. The discussion will revolve around the following topics: "Technological lightness", "transversality" and "innovation" which are the core concepts at the heart of Stauffacher’s work. (Red)
