ABOUT / THE DAY

With the initiative of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the date March 2 (also with initiatives in other dates) marked the celebrations of Italian design, main driver of "Made in Italy" in the world. In 100 locations around the world, 100 Italian culture "ambassadors" (designers, entrepreneurs, journalists, critics, communicators, teachers etc.) presented Italian design as a unique blend of tangible and intangible factors, that have kept their distinctive characteristics through the centuries and despite communication and mobility systems' great changes: creativity and originality, high quality materials, construction, production processes that are environment, workers and end-users friendly. High quality packaging and advertising.
