Malika Ayane’s music is about to enchant Morocco

(17 March 2017) “The colour of this voice is a dark orange that tastes of a rare and pungent spice”says Paolo Conte on Malika Ayane’s music. Malika’s extraordinary success in Italy and abroad continues. Ayane will be in concert at the Mohammed V Theatre – part of an event organised by the Italian Cultural Institute of Rabat in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. In her concert, Ayane proposes a musical journey through the artist’s most successful hits ranging from acoustic songs to ones inspired by 1960s dance halls to a variety of tribal and Caribbean rhythms, to more urban hits with electronic sounds that recall Berlin’s and London’s club culture. It will be a wonderful concert that will bring to life Ayane’s magic musical richness that have made her into a star of Italian Contemporary music. A band composed of Daniele Di Gregorio (drums and percussions), Carlo Gaudiello (piano and keyboards), Marco Mariniello (bass and contrabass), Giulia Monti (cello) and Stefano Brandoni (guitar). MUSIC FOR ABRUZZO

In April 2009, Malika Ayane was one of the greatest Italian artists along with Jovanotti, Zucchero, Ligabue, Franco Battiato, Carmen Consoli and many more who participated in the project “Domani – Artisti Uniti per l’Abruzzo” (Tomorrow – Artists United for Abruzzo). On June 21, 2009, Ayane was one of the protagonists of “Amiche per l’Abruzzo”, a concert dedicated to collecting funds for those affected by the earthquake.
