His authentic, charged, and passionate films always star young people living on the margins of society. His films represent a new form of contemporary neorealism. (red)

THE PLOT

Set in the suburbs of Rome and Ostia, the nineties. The "Ragazzi di vita" (“Street Kids”), once described by Pasolini, now belong to a world that revolves around self-indulgency. A world where money, powerful machines, nightclubs, synthetic drugs and cocaine circulate easily. It is 20-year-old Vittorio and Cesare’s world. Initiation into society comes at a high cost: Vittorio, to save himself, has distanced itself from the new "dolce vita", while Cesare is relentlessly sinking. Their strong bond, however, will not keep Vittorio from really abandoning his friend, always hoping for a better future. Together.
