From “The Great Beauty” to “The Young Pope”: an encounter with set designer Ludovica Ferrario

(6 April, 2017) In Paolo Sorrentino’s films from “The Great Beauty” to “Youth” and the drama series “The Young Pope” lies Ludovica Ferrario’s work. She will be one of the special guests at the Visegard Film Forum 2017 held in Bratislava from April 25th – 29th. Every year, the film forum invites set designers to network with other people in the sector, with students and with film lovers. Ludovica Ferrario will be present on April 26th from 10:00 to 13:00 thanks to the Visegard Film Forum in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Bratislava. Ludovica produced the evocative architecture of “The Great Beauty” based on fascinating details, proportions and geometry. In Sorrentino’s latest work “The Young Pope”, she created an exact replica of the Sistine Chapel in the film studios. (Red)
