(April 7, 2017) The worldwide celebrations of the 60th anniversary Treaties of Rome are still going on. Even Argentina celebrates the united Europe with a seminar to be held on May 4 at 15 at the Institute of International Relations (IRI), National University of La Plata (UNLP). The conference, entitled "The European Union 60 years after the Treaties of Rome (1957-2017)", is organized by the Centro de Estudios Italianos (IRI-UNLP) in collaboration with the Inter-University Consortium for Italian of Argentina (CUIA) and the national University of La Plata (UNLP). Speakers include, among others, the Consul General of Italy in La Plata, Iacopo Foti, Norberto Consani, director of the Institute of International Relations of the University of La Plata, Carla Masi Doria, director of CUIA, and various professors and researchers of Rome University La Sapienza. ABOUT / THE EXHIBITION


After the seminar will open the exhibition "A Union even more profound - the legacy of the Treaties of Rome to the Europe of today (1957-2017)" made by the Historical Archives of the European Union and the European University Institute. (Red)
