Everything is set for the 5th Italian Music Festival

(12 April 2017) The flyers advertising the 5th Italian Music Festival ask “when will you sing your song?”. The festival is hosted by the Paseo Cayala’ Centre in Guatemala City. The countdown to the start of the highly awaited festival (April 22 from 16:00-20:00) has already begun in the city. The Italian Music Festival began in 2011 thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute in collaboration with Camcig (Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Guatemala) and has launched some of Guatemala’s most renowned voices such as Alejandra Flores, Adriana González, Ana Iris Esposito, Mayra Álvarez, Maricela Perufo (the last edition’s winner). The festival is open to all singing students and Italian music lovers. The winner will have the opportunity to discover Italy on a paid trip. (PO/red)
