(19 May 2017) Everything is ready in Tirana for the second edition of "10 Nights of Italian Cinema". The summer film festival will kick off on Tuesday, May 30 and last until 1 August. "10 Nights of Italian Cinema" is organised by the Italian Institute of Culture of Tirana, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the City of Tirana. The "Reja" Pavilion, hosted by the Japanese artist Sou Fujimoto, is located in the gardens in front of the National Art Gallery. The show will be launched on May 30th and will feature Italian films for ten consecutive Tuesdays in original language with Albanian subtitles. "The initiative, animated by the same spirit as the first nights of the first edition, aims to create an opportunity for networking and fun for the young and young adults who will stay in the summer city with the aim of promoting contemporary Italian cinematography that has been almost completely absent during the rest of the year from cinemas. Access to screenings will be free of charge for anyone who wants to attend and spend some pleasant nights in company of beautiful Italian cinema" according to a note by the IIC Tirana. (Red)
