(May 31, 2017) As part of the promotional activity 2017, Italtrade, in collaboration with the Acimaf Association, carries out a series of actions to support the Italian presence at "Wire Russia 2017" fair, a biennial event devoted to wire and cable machinery chain, to be held in Moscow, at the Zao Expocentr Exhibition Center in Krasnaya Presnya, from June 5 to 8. The main purpose of the initiative is to strengthen the image of the Made in Italy sector on the Russian market as well as to support Italian companies in their efforts to maintain competitive positioning in this strategic area of export for the sector. The package of shares includes the presence at the fair with an Italtrade -Acimaf stand with main services, the creation of a catalog of Italian companies present at the fair and its distribution to interested Russian operators, the production of a sectorial note updated with the latest industry-leading data and news coverage of a meeting with all the specialized industry newspapers and major local economic newspapers as well as leading opinion leaders, importers / distributors and institutional representatives, a time of focus for business relationships between Italian and Russian companies in the sector. During the last edition of the event (May 2015), a total exhibition space of about 3.000 square meters, 196 companies presented their production (89% of which were foreign). For four countries, Austria, China, Germany and Italy, there was a national pavilion. The event was attended by 2,550 operators from 51 countries. This 2017 edition of the event will feature 24 Italian companies in the industry. (Red)

The exhibition organizer is Messe Duesseldorf. The target of the exhibitors mainly refers to the sectors of the production of cables and wires, accessories, raw materials, manufacturers of mechanical small parts, control and measurement technologies. Visitors, however, are mainly operators in the cable and wire, iron, steel, non-ferrous metals, automotive, chemical and petrochemical industries, electronics, construction, measurement and control technologies industry.
