Italian research day in China: a growing presence

(June 16, 2017) The aim is to capture the attention of the presence and role of Italian researchers and teachers in China, that has grown in quantity and quality in recent years. Everything is ready for the Italian Research Day in China, scheduled for June 23 at the Italian Embassy and the Italian Institute of Culture in Beijing. The event - organised by the China Science Network - is a discussion forum on the role of teachers and the impact of Italian research and as a project opportunity for defining strategies and goals for the science, technology and of Italian innovation in China. Italy was one of the first western countries to sign an intergovernmental agreement with China in 1978 for scientific and technological cooperation. Over the years, S & T cooperation projects between the two countries have gradually increased, to become today an important part of the global strategic partnership between China and Italy. (Red)
