The 1994 film directed by Michael Radford and Massimo Troisi (the actor's last film, as he passed away only 12 hours after the end of shooting), inspired by Neruda's "Postman". FILMS

Massimo Troisi has marked the history of cinema with his interpretation in The Postman, a film of undeniable magnificence that sees him acting alongside a young Maria Grazia Cucinotta and a film-makers, Philippe Noiret, who each contribute something special to the transposition of Antonio Skármeta's novel. The film "Life is Beautiful" is about the Nazi War as seen by a child's eyes. Benigni manages to deliver this very sad and tragic subject, in a light and even comical way in some parts. The film can be divided into two distinct parts: the first is set on Guido's encounter with Dora. The second, very dramatic, takes place entirely within a Nazi lager in Trieste.
