Music, Olen Cesari stops at Italian Cultural Institute

(June 28, 2017) Olen Cesari makes a stop in Beijing. Tomorrow at 7 pm, the theater of the Italian Cultural Institute in Beijing will host the concert of the Albanian violinist. Olen Cesari is not just a virtuoso of the violin but a true master of stylistic versatility. With his rare talent, he fascinates those who listen with an universal music that combines different styles and sounds. He was born in Albania and at three years old he started studying the violin with his mother, who is also a musician. Defined as a "prodigy child" for its amazing interpretative qualities, he performed in public for the first time at five years old. At thirteen years old he graduated "cum laude" at the Superior Institute of Art of Tirana. In 1989 he arrived in Italy thanks to a scolarship and soon began an intense concert activity in the most prestigious Italian concert halls, including those of Palazzo Barberini and of the Accademia di Francia in Rome. At the age of fourteen, the audience was surprised by the perfect execution of the "24 Capricci" by Niccolò Paganini, considered universally a challenge for every virtuoso of the violin for their difficulty. At seventeen, he graduated "cum laude" at the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome, becoming the youngest violinist in the history of the Roman conservatory. Tomorrow in Beijing he will perform with Michael Rodi (piano) and Francesca Carli (voice). (Red)
