(9colonne) Eight small and medium enterprises from Emilia-Romagna will go directly to Silicon Valley to take part in a business experience. The choice of the 8 "lucky ones", as announced by the Region in cooperation with Aster, the Regional Company for Research and Innovation, will fall on companies that make innovation their main feature. The ultimate goal is to match eight Emilia-Romagna Technological and Innovative SMEs with Corporate Investors and potential partners or buyers in the Californian territory. The program includes training in both Emilia-Romagna and Silicon Valley, pitch event, investor Event, b2b encounters. The mission in the USA is set from October 16 to 20, 2017 and to participate in the selection the companies have until July 19. "After the second experience, in the course of these weeks, of the Emilian-Romagna start-ups in California, we expand the opportunities in Silicon Valley for small and medium-sized businesses in our territory", said the regional assessor for productive activities, Palma Costi.
