Cinema: Andrea De Sica at

(3 July 2017) A name, a talent. Andrea De Sica, a young Italian director and grandson of the great Vittorio De Sica, will be a member of the jury in the second edition of the Burgas International Film Festival, July 22-29 in the Bulgarian town of Burgas (Burgas is the fourth Bulgarian city after Sofia, Plovdiv and Varna). Andrea, son of Manuel and nephew of Vittorio, debuted as a director at the age of 34 with the film "I figli della notte" (The Children of the Night) (2016). As the Sofia Italian Institute of Culture communicates which has collaborated with the Burgas International Film Festival, De Sica has had a long career starting with acting, then making short films, documentaries and a TV series for children. He got a lot of inspiration from his grandfather's movies, even though he never met him. The festival takes place at "Petya Dubarova", Morsko Casino, Burgas. (Red)
