(7 July 2017) Giorgia Mazzucato, actress, director, and writer: "I'm excited and happy to have done my best work on the other side of the world and my first thought goes to my students from SITI students - the International School of Improvisation Theatre who are pursuing a job and a dream as I did and to whom I fully dedicate this award along with Maria Beatrice Alonzi, vice president of our institution and co-producer of mine of the winning show, without which nothing would be possible". After the appreciation of the public and the Italian press, she also gained momentum with on the international scene. On the tour of the United States of America, representing Italy as the winner of the Rome Fringe Festival - Special OFF Award, she won the San Diego International Fringe Festival. She has been awarded, in fact, as best artist and for the best international show of the year. The entire organising body of the 2017 Fringe Festival of San Diego and Tijuana with over 150 professionals in the show-business and cultural sectors, declared Giorgia Mazzucato, as the winner of the San Diego International Fringe Festival 2017. She convinced the jury, among 200 other artists from around the world, with "Lifegate", an adaptation of the Italian "Viviamoci" that she produced and the Italian digital artist, Maria Beatrice Alonzi, for Stable Production of SITI. Giorgia Mazzucato, Padua class 1990, is one of the most talented actresses, directors, and authors of recent years. Already mentioned by the Nobel Prize winner Dario Fo, "Viviamoci / Lifegate" is a monologue that brings together different voices, a world of thoughts and lives able to move from the individual to the universal, as also demonstrated by the American and Mexican public who have welcomed and voted for the performance concluding that it is most appreciated international one of the year 2017. THE SHOW

The transformational monologue, "Viviamoci" consists of stories that colour each other by exploring the different atmospheres and sensations that oscillate between comedy and tragedy, happiness, rage, despair, hope, fear, nostalgia, surprise and remorse. The show is a real journey inside and out of three different characters, interpreted by the actress, and in their worlds that are created by encounters and clashes: a young mother cries of joy and then of pain, the young energetic and happy daughter travels through her imagination with word games and her beloved stuffed animal. A young Venetian mechanic grows through hard work, between satisfactions and fatal mistakes. All in an unbridled confession of love for life.
