Techniques and Technologies in the Italian Classroom, Edilingua Seminar

(July 7, 2017) On Friday July 14 (from 11Am to 6PM) at the Osaka IIC headquarters there will be a seminar called "Choose and integrate resources, techniques and technologies into the Italian class", organized by Edilingua Edizioni, the leading publishing house in the Italian field as a foreign and second language, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Osaka. The lecturer will be Professor Maurizio Leva. During the seminar, attending teachers will be asked to reflect and work actively on teaching materials. The meeting will deal with and discuss more issues: it will talk about educational games and ideas for teaching children, materials, techniques and ideas to create and maintain motivation. And also, the creative use of video in the Italian class and new digital instruments. Focus on gamification: already used in the marketing world, is now also studied and experienced as a potential resource in the field of education and to improve forms of learning. Gamification is, in fact, an interesting educational tool because it bases its action on motivation and the pleasure of learning. Teachers at the end of the course will receive an essay copy of an Edilingua book, a certificate of participation and other material. (Red)
