(10 July 2017) Successfully completed the mission of the Italian National Association of Builders (ANCE) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, organized by the Italtrade, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Sarajevo and, in order to promote Italian investments in the infrastructure and construction sector of the country. The seminars held in Sarajevo on July 6 and Banja Luka on July 7 allowed representatives of more than 20 Italian companies to know about the Federation and the Republika Srpska main plans and projects for medium and long-term development on the eve of the Trieste Summit on the Western Balkans on July 12. In particular, great potential has emerged in connection with the extension and modernization of the road, motorway and rail network of the two Entities, funded also by the financial instruments offered by the major European and international banks and institutions, subject to specific deepening sessions in the works. The interventions of the state, Federation and Republika Srpska institutional representatives have shown the attention and interest with which Italian companies are looked at from the institutions for possible investments in these strategic sectors, for their traditional experience and ability to provide a high added value at all stages, from study and design, to the creation of sustainable works also from an environmental point of view. In this regard, Ambassador of Italy, Nicola Minasi, in his greeting speech reminded that this collaboration would be functional also in the process of bringing Bosnia closer to the European Union.
