Companies from Reggio Emilia abroad, success comes thanks to a 'mentor'

(July 12, 2017) Reggio Emilia's Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Crafts and Agriculture further strengthens the initiatives to support the export of firms from Reggio Emilia. In fact, the Chamber joined the "Chamber Mentoring for International Growth" project, the initiative promoted by Unioncamere, which offers a group of companies the opportunity to benefit for free of the support of a "mentor" identified between successful managers or entrepreneurs working abroad but of Italian origins. Reggio Emilia Chamber of Commerce is partner with Canada, Denmark, United Arab Emirates, France, USA (California) and Spain, and from those countries mentoring services may be required.
In these countries, the interested companies will be able to build new business expansion projects, using the assigned "mentor" support (30 hours), or that of a group of professionals working abroad with roles of major responsibility in innovative service companies or products. Having maintained strong professional and personal relations with Italy, "mentors" will directly contact the entrepreneurs involved in the project without requiring any compensation, providing all the guidance on developing new export plans based on the experience gained in the countries mentioned above.
