(August 8, 2017) The music of Giacomo Palazzesi is ready to enchant the Argentine audience: in the eighth edition of the Andes Guitar Festival, on Wednesday, August 23 at 8 pm, the Italian musician will offer a guitar recital at the Auditorium of Radio Nacional Córdoba. The Andes Guitar Festival sees the participation of over 40 Latin American and European folk and classical guitarists. The event is organized in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute of Cordoba. (Red)

ABOUT / THE IIC

The Italian Cultural Institute of Cordoba was founded in 1986 and inaugurated on June 2, 1987, at the non-governmental venue of Av. Vélez Sársfield 318, opposite the San Martín Theater, the most important Opera House in the city and in the whole north-central Argentine. For almost twenty years in the premises of Av. Vélez Sársfield were held the Italian courses, the main cultural events and the daily management of the Office. Since March 2005, the Institute has been operating in two state structures: Offices, in Ayacucho 131 (former headquarters of Consul General of Italy in Córdoba) and Italian Language and Culture Courses in Av. Vélez Sársfield 370 Both facilities are located just a few meters from the historic and academic center of the city.
