(22 August 2017) Danilo Rea solo and with Oona Rea in Hong Kong on September 10th. The renowned Italian jazz pianist will perform at the Shouson Theatre at an event organized by Jazz World Live Series with the support of the Italian Institute of Culture and the Consulate General of Italy. Danilo Rea is one of the most famous Italian jazz pianists in the world. He was born in Vicenza and graduated from the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome. He performed with Roberto Gatto and Enzo Pietropaoli, with the Doctor 3 with Pietropaoli once again and Fabrizio Sferra, after which he undertook a solo career. Oona Rea, a jazz singer, also graduated from the Santa Ceciia Conservatory and collaborated with artists by the likes of Mina, Pino Daniele, Claudio Baglioni, and Fiorella Mannoia.

The event is part of the Bellissima Italia Festival 2017 organized by the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong and Macao, whose mission is to promote Italian lifestyle and culture and Italian-made products, in partnership with public and private organisations.
