Jazz, seven dates in Japan for the Vezzoso-Collina duo

(August 22, 2017) Kyoto, Nagoya, Miyazu, Kobe and Kitakyushu. These are the cities where the trumpet of Marco Vezzoso and the piano of Alessandro Collina will perform. The two Italian jazz players are preparing for their tour in western Japan: seven concerts scheduled between August 28 and September 3. The intense tour was organized thanks to the commitment of the Italian Cultural Institute in Osaka, directed by Stefano Fossati: "One of the most satisfactory results of the project - explains Fossati - is the network of relationships with entrepreneurs and local institutions that have allowed the organization of such a large number of concerts, and with some of them we have already organized some events before: two Japanese Municipalities (Miyazu and Nagoya), two Italian cultural associations operating in Japan (Italiana and Isolacara) and three jazz music venues (Kyoto Live Spot Rag, Kobe Mosrite Cafe and Osaka's Premium Marbles Azul Terrace)". In Kyoto, the Italian musicians will play with two well-known local jazz players: Norihide Nakajima (drums) and Yasuhiro Yoshigaki (drums). In Nagoya, the duo Vezzoso-Collina will perform as part of the initiatives carried out in honor of the twinning between Turin and the Japanese city. (Red)
