Italian Cannes films premiered at Cinema Le Zola

(August 30, 2017) In September, Lyon's "Le Zola" Cinema, in collaboration with the IIc, participates in the "Best of Quinzane" project, which includes the screening of some of the films to be presented at the Cannes Film Festival . In particular, three Italian films will be presented: "A Ciambra" by Jonas Carpignano, "Cuori Puri" by Roberto De Paolis, "L’Intrusa" by Leonardo di Costanzo. "A Ciambra" is the second feature film of Carpignano, director grown between Rome and New York. His first feature film "Mediterranea" was selected at the Cannes 2015 Festival and received an enthusiastic response from the press and audience before being screened at numerous international festivals where it also won many awards (Best Screenplay Award, Best Director Award, Best First Film Award and Best Foreign Language Film). Roberto de Paolis began his career in feature film after having presented at the Venice Film Festival two shorts, "Bassa Marea" in 2010 and "Alice" in 2011. Leonardo di Costanzo, originally from Ischia, lives between Naples and Paris, he is author of numerous documentaries presented at many festivals, and presents a film about the outskirts of Naples.


ABOUT / THE PROGRAM

The first event with Italian premieres will be on Thursday, September 14, at 8 pm with A Ciambra by Carpignano. On Tuesday, September 19, at at 8 pm, De Paoli's Cuori Puri. Finally, on Thursday 21 at 8:45 pm L’Intrusa. For members of the Italian Cultural Institute of Lyon, the entrance is € 5.80.
