"Memoria" is Italian pianist and composer Francesco Santalucia's 1st album which he presented yesterday at the United Nations in New York. he performed a world premiere of the compositions from his album for the production of "Medea" with Dario D'Ambrosi's 'pathological theatre'. released today for La Grande Onda / A1, now available on most digital stores. After dedicating himself to the composition of stage music for various productions all over the world, and having performed in Japan, Indonesia, North Africa, the United States, and several European countries, Santalucia decided to assemble several pieces on the theme of memory in one album. The album contains instrumental music, with the piano as the lead instrument accompanied by a trio of strings, some synthesizer and analog electronic manipulation. Only one piece uses the vocal featuring of the Moroccan singer Meryem Aboulouafa, for whom the musician has produced several works in France and Morocco. (Red)
