Flattered by the many Georgian and foreign admirers who paid tribute to her, Botticelli's Venus decided to stay in Tbilisi until December 15th. The exhibition "Universal Values - Botticelli, the Beauty, Caravaggio, the Light" at the National Gallery Dimitri Shevardadze, has indeed received an extraordinary acclaim by the public. The Italian Embassy in Tblisi communicates that there have been 55,000 visitors - almost 1,150 a day. It is strong attraction for tourists, but also for the Georgian public, but above all young people: 107 organised tours for schools with almost 26,000 students (including university students) involved, and 37 special programmes (concerts, painting exercises, quizzes, etc.).
