"Made in Catteland" is the latest project by Maurizio Cattelan: the most controversial Italian artist of the contemporary art scene does not hold back from surprising his audience and announces the presentation of an "art for all" project for some of the most important museum shops of the world. Museums League is the preview of this new incursion: a tribute to all fans of contemporary art, who will be able to declare their support for their favourite museums with real 'art-ultras' scarves. The idea stems from the consideration that museums are increasingly meeting spaces for art enthusiasts: the institutions linked to contemporary art have become symbols that represent cities and points of reference for communities - just like football teams. Unique combinations of colors, together with the names of institutions and phrases from museum 'slognas' characterise the different scarves, created specifically from the image of each museum and its DNA. Numerous international institutions have already joined where it will be possible to buy scarves through their bookshop and e-shop: the idea is to create an ever-growing league of museums that could potentially involve the worldwide contemporary art museum network.
