A Star for Gina. It was announced for her 90th birthday on July 4th, and on February 1st 2018, Gina Lollobrigida will be in Los Angeles for the installation of her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and to receive the Filming on Italy Award. The ceremony will take place on February 1st at 11.30 in Hollywood and Vine Boulevard, as part of Filming on Italy in Los Angeles. The festival was born thanks to an agreement between Agnus Dei of Tiziana Rocca, the Italian Institute of Culture of Los Angeles and the Director Valeria Rumori, and the Italian Consulate General in Los Angeles and will be held from January, 31st until February, 2018 It was Tiziana Rocca who notified the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce to include Lollobrigida among the candidates for receiving the 'Star' on the Walk of Fame - the most sought-after award by celebrities from all over the world. Lollobrigida's star, voted unanimously, is the 14th star that bears the name of an illustrious Italian.
