(2 febbraio 2018) The international project "Joint Enterprise University Learning" (JEUL) to strengthen teaching and learning between Europe and Asia has officially started at the University of Siena. The JEUL project aims at a strong interaction between universities and companies to improve the relevance and applicability of university learning in the job market. The objectives of the project are to create a strong collaboration between universities and businesses to define academic curricula that will improve prospects of entry into the workforce.  JEUL, which receives an EU funding of €935,000, involves European, Chinese, and Vietnamese universities under the coordination of the University of Siena; promoting a collaboration with companies. The students of each partner university will have access to specific training modules on how companies work and training and placement programmes aimed at acquiring the knowledge needed to be immediately operational in a company.
