Munich. "In 2018, when the double anniversary of the Bavarian State is celebrated, the multifaceted Count Franz Graf von Pocci reinvents itself as an exemplary embodiment of the European spirit that has contributed decisively to the prestige of Bavaria". Munich pays tribute with an exhibition showcasing a selection of sketches and watercolors,to Count Franz von Pocci (1807-1876), son of an Italian count and a German baroness, one of the most eclectic personalities of nineteenth-century Munich, and is considered one of the founders of the caricature. The exhibition "Count Franz von Pocci: a European on the road" will be inaugurated on Wednesday March 7th at 18:30, at the Italian Institute of Culture of Munich. The exhibition will remain open to the public until April 6th. Director Francesco Ziosi, will greet the public at the inauguration at the Italian Institute of Culture. Anna Zanco-Prestel, President of Pro Arte eV and Klaus Kempf, director of the Bavarian State Library will also be present. (9Colonne)
