According to the Italian Institute of Culture of Paris, "a few days before the Italian political elections, we propose a study day during which political scientists, historians, and sociologists will gather to decipher the anatomy of the Italian vote". This is what the Italian Cultural Institute of Paris does. On Wednesday March 7th from 10:00 to 18:30 in the Science Po Paris conference room, "Understanding the vote: A study day on the Italian political elections" organised in collaboration with the Centre de recherches internationales (CERI) of Sciences Po, the LUISS School of Government with the support of the Fondation pour l'innovation politique, and the Jean Jaurès Foundation. The participants are: Roberto D'Alimonte (LUISS),Marco Maraffi (EEC Itanes), Ilvo Diamanti (University of Urbino), Giovanni Orsina (LUISS), Marc Lazar (Sciences Po-LUISS), Sergio Fabbrini (LUISS), and Francesco Saraceno (OFCE, Sciences Po-LUISS). The conference will end with a round table discussion moderated by Michèle Leridon (AFP). Speakers are: Gilles Finchelstein (Fondation Jean Jaurès), Pierre Musso (Université de Rennes), Dominique Reynié (Cevipof)Marco Tarchi (University of Florence), and Sofia Ventura (University of Bologna-LUISS).
