Music: Federica Fornabaio's new

(9 marzo 2018) A new album of piano and small ensemble pieces for Federica Fornabaio: "Unpeaceful". Fornabaio is a pianist, composer, arranger (to quote one of her many works for Roberto Vecchioni on the album Chiamami Ancora Amore). She is also a pop orchestra conductor (as in Sanremo where she won along with Marco Carta and Arisa), a jazz player (as in the last tour held with trumpet player Angelo Olivieri). A pupil of Einaudi and Piovani, award-winning composer of soundtracks in Italy and abroad, and above all an eclectic, omnivorous, powerful, and subtle musical personality - an absolute musical and cultured icon like Ryuichi Sakamoto, who dedicated the song "Asience" to her featured in the new album. Fornabaio is this and much more: she is a woman who lives for music with an emphasis on sound and rare production in the female music making; determined in her choices despite the poetry and the passion that emerges from her music. In this album featuring a small but complete ensemble, with strings, percussions and winds, Fornabaio demonstrates her willingness to go beyond any cliché, without limitations of any kind, creating a modern, and engaging musical impact. "Unpeaceful", was recorded in the highest quality audio (Super Audio), with the production of Pasquale Minieri, and burned in the legendary 'Abbey Road' Studios in London, under the supervision of Andy Walter (4 Gramophone Awards and 2 Grammy Awards nominations).
