Exhibitions,

The Gallery of the National Academy of Fine Arts of Sofia will host - starting March 20th works by 30 artists from the Academy of Fine Arts of Brera in Milan and 22 works by professors and students of the National Academy of Fine Arts of Sofia, collected under the title "Identity in Sign and Colour". In the beginning of this third millennium, characterised by heated debates on cultural diversity, the exhibition reaffirms the value of sharing the wealth in every culture of the world, of confrontation, and dialogue that unite us. It is a jounery from lithography to photography, digital graphics and classic design, to the reconstruction of a vast artistic universe that overcomes territorial boundaries in a dialogue between cultures and sensibilities. A path of strong deconstruction of the symbol that the national flag has incarnated in past centuries through the creative artistic genius, which together interprets the pride of its history, and of its distinct identity but that is still open to the world. The inauguration will be attended by the Italian Ambassador Stefano Baldi, the Director of the Italian Cultural Institute, Luigina Peddi and the rector of the Academy, Prof. Nikolay Drachev who will officially inaugurate the exhibition. The exhibition will remain open until April 14th. (Red)
