The urban planning of the city and the artistic personalities that have most influenced the cultural and artistic history of Florence (Giotto, Brunelleschi, Masaccio, Donatello, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Vasari). The architectural description of some of its most important monuments: The Middle Ages (Baptistery of Saint John, San Miniato al Monte, the churches of Santa Maria Novella and Santa Croce), Renaissance (Cathedral of S. Maria del Fiore, Brunelleschi's Dome, Church of Santo Spirito Palazzo Strozzi and Palazzo Medici Riccardi, Biblioteca Laurenziana,) and the Baroque period (Pitti Palace, Boboli Gardens, Uffizi). An encounter with typical Florentine cuisine. Massimo De Angelis, a Florence native, architectural restoration expert, will guide the guests of the event on November 19th at the Italian Institute of Culture of Munich in the history of Florence, between culture and cuisine.
