(14 November 2018) Extraordinary success among the public and critics has been met at the inauguration in Lima on November 7th of the exhibition "Demopráctica" by Michelangelo Pistoletto, at the "Museo de Arte Italiano". Curated by the Brazilian Marcello Dantas, the exhibition was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Peru Luis Felipe Villacorta and Ambassador Giancarlo Maria Curcio and will be open to the public - with free admission - until December 30, 2018.  A few days after taking office in this country, Ambassador Curcio underlined the passion for art that unites Italians and Peruvians and makes it possible to aim for quality events that give new life to cultural relations between the two countries.  The Deputy Minister of Culture gave thanks for the solid bilateral cooperation in the cultural field, underlining how important the Italian presence for Peru is. In the splendid setting of the Museo de Arte Italiano, an architectural jewel donated to the Peruvian State by the Italian community in 1921, on the occasion of the first centenary of the country's independence, Pistoletto presented some of his most important works of his long artistic career gathered around the concept of "Demopráctica" to an enthusiastic audience.
