Food in Italian cinema <br> posters on exhibition

(13 December 2018) The exhibition "Da Cinecittà alla tavola. Il cibo nei manifesti del cinema italiano" (From Cinecittà to the Table. Food in Italian Cinema Posters) will remain open to the public until December 21st at the Italian Institute of Culture in Zagreb.   An exhibition of posters from the Enrico Minisini Archive of Cividale del Friuli. The posters, playbills, and flyers, date back from the 1940s to 2000 and depict a true Italy, both popular and bourgeois that shifts between neorealism and the modern world. Among these we find the art house cinema, the commedia all'italiana, famous films and actors such as Sophia Loren, Marcello Mastroianni, Vittorio De Sica, Alberto Sordi, but also lesser known films, but no less important for this reason.
