(13 march 2019) On 4 April the Italian Cultural Institute of Madrid will host the presentation of the Turin Book Fair - a project of the Foundation per il Libro, Music e la Cultura promoted by the Piemonte Region and the City of Turin and directed by Nicola Lagioia from 2016 . Considered the most important Italian event dedicated to publishing, reading and culture, and among the most important in Europe, the Salone di Torino is at the same time the largest Italian bookshop in the world, repeated every May in the Lingotto Fiere headquarters. It is a prestigious cultural festival, an international point of reference for professional book operators, and an important educational project dedicated to promoting reading among young people. The presentation will be attended by: Nicola Lagioia, writer and director of the Salone, Italian writers Evelina Santangelo and Claudia Durastanti, and Luis García Montero, poet, writer and director of the Instituto Cervantes.
