(25 march 2019) The photographic exhibition on Matera by the Italian artist Denise Mazzarella will remain open until April 2 in Plovdiv at the Casa Balabanov "Matera, sfumature".  The project reinforces the link between the two European Capitals of Culture of 2019. The photographs on display highlight details, narrative angles of the territory of Matera and its people, and are the result of an artist's promenade, pervaded by the spirit of the Flâneur, from the first light of dawn. As part of the exhibition, a prize photography competition was launched to promote the beauty and richness of Plovdiv's cultural heritage, on the same theme as the exhibition. The citizens of Plovdiv will be asked to send their best photographs of particular details or angles of their city.  The awarding of the winners of the competition will take place on June 4th in Casa Balabanova.
