The scandal that is engulfing the world of Italian gymnastics does not end. Yesterday a precautionary measure was ordered against a coach from Brescia. According to the investigators, the woman is the author of mistreatment - humiliations, offenses and pressures - that continued from 2017 to date at the federal center of rhythmic gymnastics of the Academy of Desio that, following the investigations started this autumn, was commissioned. The 30-year-old is now under investigation for alleged mistreatment of eight girls. The investigations of the Prosecutor's Office of Brescia were born from the complaints of the very young gymnasts, between 10 and 14 years old, videotaped and assisted by a psychologist. In total, more than 25 people were heard, including the parents of the gymnasts, the colleagues of the suspect, the psychologists to whom some athletes had addressed themselves and the leaders of the National Federation. Traces of the previous messaging chats and video footage of some harassment carried out on the athletes were also recovered, some carried out by the same woman investigated.
