It is called GT65 the futuristic Italian supercar that takes its name from the race number of the motorcycle champion Loris Capirossi who is inspired by the capsule collection of three special hypercar examples produced by Frangivento Automobili and numbered for each of the three world championships won by the rider from Romagna: 90, 91, 98. The car was designed and engineered by Loris Capirossi together with Giorgio Pirolo and Paolo Mancini - co-founder of FV Frangivento - the two-seater coupe represents an important evolution of the "Sorpasso" model both from a stylistic and mechanical point of view. "I met Giorgio Pirolo and Paolo Mancini in Monte Carlo - said Capirossi - We immediately became attuned to the passion we share for sports cars. They told me about the romantic venture they intended to make with the FV Frangivento brand and their idea of building a new model of the highest quality as a tribute to my career declined in three copies dedicated to each of the three world championships I won. With enthusiasm, however, they asked me for the courtesy of joining them in friendship on the design of the new GT65 supercar. In these years I have witnessed the growth of this new "creature", trying to offer creative input to Giorgio and Paolo that they have been able to translate into reality".
