Leonardo has announced a significant investment in a new high-tech science and engineering center in Newcastle Helix, UK. Newcastle Helix is an innovative 24-acre complex in the city center that brings together industry players, businesses, and top researchers in a world-class innovation hub. At the new location, Leonardo expects to hire more than 200 people, contributing over £185 million to the local economy over the next decade. Through this initiative, Leonardo will be able to find and hire the best people in the Northeast of the United Kingdom and strengthen its ties to the region's small and medium-sized businesses, many of which are already a part of the company's national supply chain.
