Rome is hosting the Giro d'Italia once again. Yesterday, in the nation's capital, the final stage of the 2023 pink race, renamed "the great arrival," was presented; it will reach the Eternal City on May 28. The Rome leg will cover a distance of 135 kilometers, beginning at EUR's "Square Colosseum" and ending at the Colosseum in the Imperial Forums. Participants will travel along Viale Cristoforo Colombo to Ostia, turn around, and head back through the Baths of Caracalla to the city center. The cyclists will leave from here and complete five laps of 17.5 kilometers each, passing through some of Rome's most famous landmarks like the Piazza del Popolo, Castel Sant'Angelo, and Circus Maximus before returning to the forums at the end of the race.
