The Trentino region is the protagonist in Silicon Valley. In fact, the Autonomous Province of Trento - the only Italian public administration - has been chosen by the European Commission as a virtuous example of innovation and is bringing its experience these days to San Francisco as part of the European Innovation Days. Speaking here was Achille Spinelli, delegate of the Councilor for Economic Development, Research and Labor, who was called to join the delegation made up of more than 40 leading innovative companies and startups, European chancellors and mayors committed to promoting the European innovation ecosystem and the goals of the New European Innovation Agenda. "We are delighted to have been invited by the European Commission to present Trentino's innovation overseas," comments Councillor Spinelli, who points out that this is "a big step forward for Trentino, which is devoted to attracting talent and increasing investment in the territory, especially in the technological sphere. Once again, the Italian research and innovation system shows the important results obtained by a cohesive effort, landing in Silicon Valley to confront with high European and international institutional and entrepreneurial profiles. Thus the goals of the Rovereto Charter start to take shape, seeing in initiatives like this a way to positively contaminate the territory, strengthen networks and make our territory grow".
