According to the most recent study conducted by the Italian Parents Movement in collaboration with the Piepoli Institute, more than half of Italian minors (54%) have been bullied online or in person. In just two years, this figure has increased by up to 10%. 10% of minors (+3%) have participated in bullying incidents, 6% have used photos or videos to offend others, and 53% (+15% compared to 2020) regularly make fun of one or more friends, claiming that he/she knows it is a joke. Only 34% of students respond "help the victim" when asked how they should behave when they witness bullying, compared to 44% in 2020.
