The Ermenegildo Zegna Group's guard is changing in the United States. Nilly Foster, who will take over as president and CEO of the North American business on June 15, will be at the helm of the region, closely following the United States and Canada. The manager will report directly to Gildo Zegna, the CEO of the Trivero group. She has over 20 years of experience in the luxury retail sector in North America, where she has worked for brands like Ralph Lauren, St. John, and Christian Dior. For the last eight years, she has been the executive vice president of retail and wholesale for North America. Foster succeeds Luca Lo Curzio, who was promoted to this position in April 2020 after serving as global chief marketing and digital officer. North America is a key market for the Zegna Group, which also includes Thom Browne: sales in the region increased by 26.7% to 82 million euros in the fourth quarter, with the United States accounting for 77 million, up 26.1% from the same period in 2021. North American revenue will increase by 54.1% to 295 million euros in 2022. The United States, in particular, increased by 53.5%, reaching 270 million.
