A keynote lecture on the history of Prosecco and the territory of the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene - formerly a UNESCO World Heritage Site - at Cornell University in New York; eight hundred students in presence and an equal number connected were able to follow the online event of Carpenè-Malvolti, called upon to represent the sparkling wine symbol of Veneto and Italy. The Mayor of Conegliano, Fabio Chies, virtually welcomed and introduced the students to the city of Conegliano with a video message: "It is an indissoluble history between Conegliano and Carpenè-Malvolti, a history of values, traditions and territory; precisely that of the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, which have even obtained UNESCO recognition as a World Heritage Site. Territory and culture with the School of Enology of Conegliano, represented by school headmistress Mariagrazia Morgan: "Our School has a very strong bond with Carpenè-Malvolti, especially with Antonio Carpenè, who founded it together with Gian Battista Cerletti back in 1876".
