After being gang-raped in July in Palermo, a 19-year-old girl abused by seven boys was again assaulted. A young man allegedly threatened her with a knife and seized her. This is what the girl told Carabinieri, who on July 7 had been taken to an abandoned construction site where she had been gang-raped. The young man had been reported by her for another abuse and is under investigation by the Palermo Public Prosecutor's Office. Together with his mother, he then allegedly tried to force the girl to recant the charges filed against him. The military listened to the girl for three hours and investigations into the incident are now underway. Under consideration are possible responsibilities of the mother and son for the crimes of threats, illegal carrying of a white weapon, and kidnapping.
