Notice of the start of expropriation proceedings for land useful for the construction of the Strait of Messina Bridge was published today in the national and territorial newspapers of Sicily and Calabria. The announcements will be used for the affixing of the constraint preordained to the expropriation and the declaration of public utility, which will be sanctioned with the approval of the final design of the bridge by the Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development (CIPESS). The publication follows the approval by the company's Board of Directors of the update of the final design of the work, the delivery of the design drawings to the ministries and authorities and the start of the services conference. For 60 days, starting April 8, those whose property is affected by the expropriation procedures for the Strait Bridge will be able to call for assistance with technical staff by telephone appointment and make their comments.
