Inside the iconic and unpublished archives, there are testimonies from Silvio Berlusconi's closest collaborators - well-known personalities, but also technicians, authors, advertisers, key figures who contributed to his personal and television success, as well as those who opposed and criticized him. A compelling story behind the scenes of the cultural enterprise that has changed the customs and consumption of entire generations, first in Italy and then throughout Europe, commercial TV: "The Young Berlusconi" will be available for streaming on Netflix in Italy on April 11 and will be broadcast in many other countries beginning with France, Germany, and Austria on ZDF Arte and ORF. The docuseries, directed by Simone Manetti, is a B&B Film production in collaboration with the German production company Gebreuder Beetz Filmproduktion and the Franco-German broadcaster ZDF Arte, and is co-financed by the Lazio Region (Lazio Cinema International), the Creative Europe Media Programme, and the MiC Tax Credit. The three-episode docuseries follows Silvio Berlusconi's rise to prominence, from his early days as an entrepreneur to the development of commercial television in the mid-1970s and the 1994 general election.
