After parting ways with Mauricio Pochettino, Chelsea has started over with Enzo Maresca. The Italian coach, who recently returned Leicester to the Premier League, has been officially named the Blues' new manager. The London club made the announcement via an official note on its channels: Maresca will sign a five-year contract until June 30, 2029, with an option to extend until 2030. After coaching at Ascoli, Sevilla, and West Ham United, Maresca took over Manchester City's Elite Development Squad in August 2020 and led them to the 2021 Premier League 2 title. After working at Parma and as an assistant manager at Manchester City, he was named head coach at Leicester City in June 2023. The 44-year-old player guided the Foxes to the EFL league title and promotion to the Premier League.
