The Franciacorta Consortium is betting "on American beauty". The association of producers of Lombard bubbly has announced that it will become an exclusive Sparkling Wine Partner during Michelin Guide ceremonies in the United States, in addition to being a sponsor of the Sommelier of the Year Awards for the next three years. Franciacorta has already been a destination-partner of the prestigious guide in Italy since 2021, but this is a remarkable leap for the visibility of Brescian bubbles. Suffice it to mention that the U.S. is the world's leading wine market and the third largest market for Franciacorta wines exports. "We are proud," says Silvano Brescianini, President of the Franciacorta Consortium, "at the idea of a collaboration with the U.S. Michelin guide, as we believe that we still have a lot to express and communicate on this market, especially in the area of high quality gastronomy.
